Social Anxiety not on approved dissabillity list for medical cannabis?

Okay so I am 19 yrs of age and I am attending NM Tech. And I have insane Social Anxiety that my pills are just not helping me with. And after lots of research I’ve decided I don’t want to be on pills any more they are just not working for me

I’ve lost 20 lbs sense I’ve started taking them a month ago. / can’t drive / throbbing rushing feeling. Ugh its terrible

So I want to talk to my doctor about trying medical cannabis, BUTTT… anxiety is not on the list of approved disability’s.

So what I’m wondering is what will the process be like to get my card because I know I can still get it for anxiety if I can prove its side affects are < the affects of the pills. (Which I can prove they do)

Again I’m just wondering what the process will be like or if anyone has gone through something similar

How could I improve my HORROR List?

You don’t have to read it all! I help people on YA who need advice pertaining to horror movies, and would like some feedback on my new list. Thank you :)

The Horror Movie List
as of: 10/09

*While there are thousands of good horror movies out there, these are solely the few that I have watched, and approved.*

FOREIGN FILMS
—Don’t be fooled, many of these have been remade in America, and they are pathetic. Foreign horror offers you the unique opportunity to experience another culture’s view of horror. Often extremely psychologically disturbing, these movies do not rely on gore alone, but on seriously messing with your head! With the exception of Vinyan, these all have subtitles—
Audition
Suicide Club
Re-Cycle
2LDK
Vinyan
Ju-On
Ringu
Pulse
Dark Water
One Missed Call

PSYCHOS
—These movies focus on one, psychotic, dangerous protagonist. Movies of this type will often offer you understanding and explanation for the killer, and feel deeper sympathy for his chosen victim(s)—
Silence of the Lambs
Hide and Seek
Psycho
Joy Ride

THE CLASSIC FOUR
—Leatherface, Jason, Freddy, and Michael have all rightfully earned their place in our hearts with their immortal faces and memorable killings. Again, do not watch the newer versions of these, because they are terrible—
Texas Chainsaw Massacre
Friday the 13th
A Nightmare on Elm Street
Halloween

BLOODFEST
—Sometimes you’re just in the mood for some bloodshed. These will certainly do the trick, without losing the creativity and power of milder films—
Final Destination
Saw
30 Days of Night
The Descent
Cabin Fever
Hostel
The Collector

ZOMBIE
—If it’s alive, but looks dead, I consider it a zombie—
Doomsday
28 Days Later
I am Legend
Resident Evil

WES CRAVEN
—Wes Craven has continued to produce bloody masterpieces, and to keep us awake at night, over the years. Many of these have been remade, and unlike the foreign films, remained great, so I encourage you to see both the original, and the remake, when possible—
The People Under the Stairs
Scream
The Last House on the Left
The Hills Have Eyes
Red Eye

SMALL PACKAGES
—Few things are scarier than small children with the killing instinct. For your viewing pleasure, I have also included a few evil-doll films. Both subgenres you will find hard to watch, because there is something just not right about small bodies weilding evil intentions—
The Good Son
Child’s Play
Dead Silence
Village of the Damned

M. NIGHT
—You’ll find both classic scares, and didn’t-see-that-coming twists in all of this man’s films. All of the below are fantastic, and shouldn’t be missed by anyone, ever—
The Happening
Signs
The Sixth Sense
The Village
Lady in the Water

RELIGIOUS TIES
—Over the years, religion has played a major role in horror. These films either have something to do with Satan himself, or with a stray demon or spirit terrorizing innocent victims—
The Wickerman
Seven
The Omen
The Reaping
Rosemary’s Baby
The Exorcist
Gothika
The Exorcism of Emily Rose
The Unborn
Drag Me to Hell

OTHER REALMS
—Sometimes the problem isn’t you, it’s where you are, and that’s where haunted houses come into play. Such is the case in these films, where location is to blame for the characters’ agony—
Silent Hill
The Haunting
Amityville Horror
The House on Haunted Hill
Thirteen Ghosts

STEPHEN KING
—Possibly the best master of horror alive today, Stephen King combines gross-out moments with psychological fear to produce the best movies, based on the best novels—
Misery
Pet Semetary
Desperation
It
Riding the Bullet
The Shining
Carrie
The Mist
Christine

FIRST-PERSON
—A relatively new subgenre, first person films get you right in on the action, often filmed through the character’s video cameras—
Quarantine [REC]
Cloverfield
The Blair Witch Project
Beyond the Mask: Leslie Vernon
District 9

For the potheads on my list (and there are a lot)?

Willys cynical thought for the day;

We could all learn something from the weather. It doesn’t care if anybody criticizes or praises it; it just does its own freaking thing!

Marijuana has been proven to have a multitude of medicinal uses. And it’s not just bunch of potheads wanting to smoke pot either! 2% of them would reap actual medical benefits!!! Here’s Cannabis Canada’s recommended dosage:

Symptom/Illness – Treatment

Glaucoma – 1/4 ounce per week, use as needed

Asthma – two large bong hits per attack

Minor burns – 1 joint every 4-6 hours

Insomnia – bowl at bedtime and as soon as you wake up

Depression – three large bong hits, 5-8 times per day

Hangnail – 1/2 ounce per week as long as symptoms persist

Feel kinda funny – pot brownies after each meal

My balls itch – antifungal cream applied to balls, and 2 – 3 joints per day

Jonesin’ for some pot – 1 full ounce every 4 days, refill as needed

Waay tooo stoned man – Smoke as much as needed until you feel ‘normal’ again

Can’t cope with shine – Stay in bed and smoke plenty of pot until better

Getting bored with Quake – One large bong hit everytime you save game

Paranoia – Smoke as much pot as humanly possible (while you still can)

Here is a question about “food discrimination.” What exactly is “gourmet” food? I will list a number of

foods, and you tell me how many of them you would consider to be “goumet” foods. My guess is that you will pick very few of them, unless you are from the South. I think that “gourmet” food is food enjoyed by the rich and famous in the Northeastern part of the U. S. How many of the following would you consider to be “gourmet? 1. Chicken Fried Steak with cream gravy 2. girts 3. Purple Hull peas 4. Blackeyed peas. 5. cornbread 6. turnip greens 7. fried okra. 8. Deep fried fresh water catfish. My guess is that you think very few of these would be “gourmet” food. Am I right? If so, it just proves that Southern culture and Southern foods are considered inferior by many of you. Tell me what you think.
