Hydroponic Tomatoes & Indoor Garden Update January 23, 2011 / Plant Clips / Floramato
Just a quick update for my indoor winter garden. The Mexico Midget tomato plants have grown 3 feet in 31 days and show no signs of stopping! Currently going through 10 gallons of nutrients each week in all systems. My first tomatoes are now appearing. I’m pollinating each variety with a separate paint brush to avoid cross pollination. I raised my grow lights to the max and they are covering a huge area. Next update in 2 weeks Plant Clip Link: www.amazon.com Floramato Link: www.amazon.com

TreeFrog by Multiponics – Stop motion hydroponic system video
This is another short stop motion animated video of The TreeFrog by Multiponics. The lid is clear only as an aid to the video. The product is supplied with a white opaque lid. We hope you enjoy this glimpse into some of the available configurations of our system. The TreeFrog is the most adaptable hydro/aero system on the market. You can accomplish every known style of growing with The TreeFrog. Run Ebb and Flow on your first crop. Then you will start to see the power of the frog. As you learn more about your plants you can begin to adapt different growing methods. Throw in some fog between Ebb and flow cycles for a little bit of insurance. Try your hand at aeroponics for the next crop. Then feel free to switch to 600gph River Current with an air stone between every plant site. The choice is yours. the system is by Multiponics. Have fun with it!
Playing with a TreeFrog Hydroponic system by Multiponics
Our patent pending tray allows for directional flow from the “Brain” through the body and back down to the drains. Our optional 9 head integrated ultrasonic fogger will provide the 5 micron fog your micro fine roots desire. We recommend using another watering method along with your fog program. Fog is great for the first few weeks of the veg cycle. After veg and into flowering the plants seen to prefer a more traditional flood type watering schedule.
Hydroponic DWC / Drip System Urban Garden Montage
This is my first attempt at Hydroponic Gardening. I grew a variety of different vegetables in 9, 3 inch net cups inside a plastic rubbermaid container. Overall it worked very well, although some plants were more successful than others. One of the main problems, which I figured would happen was there was not enough space for the variety of plants that I wanted to grow. Things like tomato and pepper plants get very big. Secondly, my light source was not strong enough for the fruit bearing plants such as the tomatoes and peppers. The peppers did produce some fruits but with stronger lights there would have been many more. Finally, I was surprised that despite the different tds requirements, the plants all did fairly well together. Overall it required minimal supervision and was a lot of fun! Please leave feedback, suggestions, questions etc.
